Welcome to Utah’s Green River.
Home to some of the world’s most amazing fly fishing. Where large, healthy, educated trout live in the pristine, crystal clear tailwater of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
The fishing on the Green is world famous for a reason, home to one of the highest population densities of trout in the lower 48 of the United States (11,000-15,000 fish per mile on the “A” section), and located in the stunning red rock canyon of Flaming Gorge. It is no small wonder that thousands of people annually come to visit and fish this spectacular river.
My name is John Sparger, and for the last seven years I have had the distinct pleasure of spending my life in and around this beautiful river. Taking pleasure in getting to know its beauty, and it’s tendencies as it relates to the amazing fishing that can be had. I have been able to guide people on many exciting fishing adventures and been lucky enough to build relationships with many of the people that have fished with me over the years.
My hope is that through this site you will be able to gain an appreciation for this area and river that I love, as well as be inspired to join myself or one of my fellow guides on an adventure on Utah’s Green River.
